Perlu nggak sih kita mengupdate firmware handphone kita?? Mungkin jawabannya akan berbeda yang akan kita dapatkan. Kalau menurut saya pribadi sih perlu banget sob, kenapa?? karena dengan di updatenya firmware hp kita, tentu handphone kita akan menjadi lebih baik lagi kinerjanya. Saya sendiri pernah merasakan nya, ketika masih menggunakan firmware v 20an, dan sekarang firmware nokia 5800 saya sudah mencapai versi 50. Jauh banget sob fitur dan kinerjanya, banyak fitur baru yang saya dapatkan.

Sebenarnya tutorial ini tidak di khususkan buat Nokia 5800 saja, buat hp Nokia yang lainnya juga bisa. Cuma, kebeneran aja saya mencoba dan adanya Nokia 5800, coba kalau saya punya hp nokia semuanya?? bakalan saya ulas satu-satu sob. Hehehe

Okeiii, kita lanjutkan kembali.
Sebelum sobat mengupdate hp nokia anda, sobat bogger harus mempersipkan dulu tools yang di perlukan. Seperti NSU (Nokia Software Update), PC Suite (buat backup data), dan NSS (Tool buat mengganti product Code). Udah disiapin belom sob tools nya?? kalau belum, download aja di bawah yah. Ok

Tips sebelum update firmware :

• Charge batre sampai full
• Jangan pilih profil offline, sobat blogger bisa pilih general, silent atau yang lainnya.
• Hilangkan semua proteksi password.
• Berdoa terlebih dahulu (biar diberikan kemudahan dan proses berjalan dengan lancar)
• Dan jangan lupa siapkan cemilan. hehe

Sebelum mengupdate nokia 5800, sobat blogger harus mengganti product codenya terlebih dahulu. Karena nggak semua product code dari indonesia bisa langsung di update firmwarenya. Begitulah informasi yang saya dapatkan, saya juga nggak tau kenapa. Hehehe
Oiya, cara ini nggak berlaku di semua hape nokia yah, jadi kalau hp sobat blogger nggak perlu mengganti product code, langsung ikuti step berikutnya. Ok

Cara Merubah Product Code :

1. Jalankan program NSS yang sudah anda download dan instal
2. Sambungkan Nokia 5800 sobat blogger ke PC, lalu pilih PC Suite Mode (tapi PC Suitenya jangan di aktifkan yah)
   
3. Di NSS, klik icon LUV di pojok kanan atas

4. Klik logo phone info
5. Pada kolom Production data Edit, klik Tombol READ (akan tampil informasi code hp anda)

6. Centang Enable (hanya di product code aja, yang lainnya nggak usah).
7. Hapus product code sobat blogger (sebelum di hapus, di catat dulu yah) lalu masukan product code yang baru
8. Klik WRITE.
9. Sekarang close program NSS sobat blogger.
10. selesai.

Sampai sini, tahap penggantian product code berjalan dengan baik. Oiya,, untuk mengembalikan Product Code sobat blogger seperti semula, caranya sama aja yah. Ok

0591829 : APAC1 GUN and BLACK INDONESIA
0573794 : APAC1 Indonesia Black
0559960 : APAC1 Indonesia BLUE
0559670 : APAC1 Indonesia RED
Dipilih aja sob, terserah sobat blogger (sama aja).

Kini saatnya kita masuk ketahap inti, yaitu mengupdate firmware.

1. Jalankan Nokia Software Update (NSU) yang sudah sobat blogger instal.

2. Klik mulai.
3. Ikuti step-step yang ada yah, gampang kok.
4. Bila sobat blogger mengikuti step-step dengan benar, maka akan tampil seperti ini.

5. Tunggu hingga proses update selesai yah sob, sambil menunggu jangan lupa untuk makan cemilan yang sudah disediakan. Hehehe
6. Selama proses update berlangsung, jangan biarkan telepon terputus/dicabut dari PC yah. Kalau pengalaman saya sewaktu mengupdate, emang di komputer ada pemberitahuan yang menyatakan bahwa sambungan telpon terputus, tapi itu baik-baik aja kok sob, cuma kesalahan teknis kayaknya.
7. Setelah menunggu sekitar 3 jam'an akhirnya proses update pun selesai, berikut tampilannya.

8. Biarkan telepon merestart dan memproses updatenya. Bila sudah kembali ke tampilan normal, berarti update anda telah sukses.
9. Selesai
